Mixed media on bristol paper, Ocean Eyes, balances the rough and the delicate with rich, running watercolor, mixed with fine line details. Layered in pencil, watercolor, prismacolor, ink, acrylic, silver leaf, vellum and charcoal.

Look closely at the running color in the chin, the details in the pink lips and you’ll notice that none outweigh the heavier details- instead they make them stronger.
